Little Mix dish on dream collabs with Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and more!
With a mission to bring girl groups back into the spotlight, it’s no surprise that Little Mix take a lot of their inspiration from the nineties, when acts like the Spice Girls and Destiny’s Child were killing it in the charts.
And having recruited quintessential nineties rapper Missy Elliot to appear on the remix of their track ‘How Ya Doin’?’ the girls have revealed that they’re looking forward to working with more iconic artists in the future.
Speaking with MTV News on the eve of their album ‘DNA’ dropping in the US, the ‘Wings’ singers dished on their ultimate wish-list – which features some of today’s biggest acts and some spectacular old-school throw-backs, too!
“I just want to do a slow jam with Jagged Edge or Jodeci or Boyz II Men, something like that would be amazing.”
But if you thought that was taking it back, Jade Thirwall admits her ultimate dream would be to work with one of music’s greatest ever divas – Diana Ross!
“Well, in an ideal world, me and Perrie have quite old ones, which will probably never ever happen,” dished Jade.
“But I love Diana Ross. In my dreams, if she came onstage, I would probably die. You've got to think big.”
And on a more personal note, Perrie dished that when she gets married, she’d like Steve Perry, the former lead singer of Journey, to perform!
“For me, I want him to sing at my wedding,” gushed the starlet, who is currently dating One Direction’s Zayn Malik.
