Love Island Winners Anna McEvoy & Josh Packham Are Gonna Move To The Gold Coast With All Their Prize Money
Well isn’t Australian reality TV just full of young lovers falling for each other?
Love Island has wrapped up with Anna McEvoy and Josh Packham splitting the $50,000 prize pool after being voted the winners.
With last year’s winning couple being an absolute flop (Tayla and Grant lasted 10 days after it turned out he had a live-in girlfriend, whoops), Anna and Josh are determined to prove they’re legit, even saying they might put there prize pool towards a love nest together.
In an interview with Now To Love, Josh said they’re “100 per cent ready to get out and just start getting on with life together on the outside”.
Considering how much effort Josh put into asking Anna to be his official girlfriend, we have strong hopes that these two will at least outlast Tayla and Grant.
When asked about moving to a city together, Josh spilled the tea.
“I've lived in Sydney my whole life and you can definitely get stuck on the Northern Beaches. But for me, if I was to move and Anna agrees, we both want to have a fresh start together so we were thinking the Gold Coast would be perfect for us. A new change, we don't know that many people up there and it'll be new for us both,” he said.
Oooh we can definitely see these two lapping up the silky sand of the Gold Coast beaches - Villa 2.0, anyone?
Josh also said he’d swing a bit of cash to his twin brother Luke, and we respect that.
Maybe they’ll build him a little beach batch out the front of their love nest.
