Lucy Hale Just 'Fessed Up To Having A MASSIVE Secret Crush On This 'PLL' Actor During Filming
Y'all know we'll pretty much take any chance we can get to fondly reminisce over the awesomeness that was Pretty Little Liars. The mystery! The characters! The fashion! The hot dudes! There was just so much to love about this show.
So plz indulge us for being lightly ~shook~ to find out that Lucy Hale AKA Aria Montgomery has fessed up to nursing a big ol' crush on one of her male co-stars! And no, we're not talking about Ian 'Ezra Fitz' Harding.
Nope, it turns out Lucy was thirsty for one of Aria's other main love interests on the show -- AKA her co-star Drew Van Acker, who played Jason DiLaurentis from season 2 onwards.
*heart-eye emojis 4eva*
So much so, in fact, that she even wrote a freakin' song about it!!!!
The 28-year-old actress and singer recently revealed that her 2014 single 'Lie A Little Better' was inspired by her feelings forDrew, but later deleted the tweet.
Now, Luce has opened up to ET about why she chose to finally come clean about her secret crush (and no you guys, it's not because she was being blackmailed by A)
“For years, people had asked me what that song was about or who it was about and I was like, ‘I should just tell them,’ and then I was like, ‘No, I should just tease people for a little bit,’” she said.
“Then, finally the other week, it came on my shuffle, and I was like, ‘Yeah, this song is about Drew.’”
Lucy added that Drew was totally oblivious to her crush back then.
“He sure does [know about it] now," she added. "But he’s, like, happily with someone. It’s all done with, but now the world knows. Drew Van Acker. He’s a cutie.”
Couldn't agree more, Luce!
The actress is pretty loved up herself these days, and has reportedly been dating her new Life Sentence co-star, Riley Smith.
