Luis Fonsi Isn't Angry At Justin Bieber For Forgetting The Lyrics To 'Despacito'
Remember when Justin Bieber tried to perform 'Despacito', forgot the lyrics and replaced them with phrases like "Dorito" and "burrito"?
Yeah, well it didn't go down so well online, with people accusing Bieber of "poking fun at the whole Spanish culture."
people really say justin bieber's despacito when he doesn't even know the lyrics pic.twitter.com/aTdjTamZBL

Sometimes I realize I know more lyrics to Despacito than Justin Bieber does and I feel better about myself

I would personally like to thank the crowd member who threw something at Justin Bieber when he said "I can't sing despacito idk the lyrics"

However, the man behind 'Despacito', Luis Fonsi, wasn't bothered in the slightest.
"I don't expect him to memorise the words: they're hard, and he doesn't speak the language," Luis Fonsi told PEOPLE.
"Go easy on him."
Luis added that even he forgot the Portugese version of the song. "If you asked me right now to sing the Portugese version, I wouldn't even know the first word."
"So, imagine someone, a Canadian, speaking Spanish, in a chorus that goes 'da-di-da-di-da-dito.' It's just a bunch of information. So I don't blame him."
"It doesn't hurt my feelings."
There you have it, straight from the Fonsi's mouth!
We're guessing Fonsi hasn't got much to complain about these days, considering 'Despacito' is the first Spanish-language song to top the Hot 100 in 20 years and is a week away from becoming the longest-running Billboard No.1 of ALL TIME.
