Margot Robbie Would Like You To Stop Giving Her Sh*t About Not Seeing 'Star Wars'
Margot Robbie is one busy woman. She's staying booked with a whole stack of upcoming major film roles that you can't blame her if she misses some pop cultural moments that everyone else is obsessed with.
Well, apparently that's not good enough for people like Leonardo DiCaprio, who, according to Robbie, was simply aghast that she hadn't seen Citizen Kane (ie widely considered one of the best films ever made).
While Robbie and Leo were promoting their new flick Once Upon A Time In Hollywood this week, Robbie directly called out her co-star for said shaming to MTV.
“I remember when we did Wolf of Wall Street,” Margot said to Leo directly. “You would get angry at me all the time anytime I mentioned any movie I haven’t seen.
“You would be like, ‘How have you not seen Citizen Kane? How can you work in this industry and not have seen Citizen Kane?’”
Robbie was quick to hit back and say '“I’m like, ‘I just got here to this industry, like, you’ve had more time to watch this stuff!’”
Now, Robbie has also said that she's enjoying not watching some of the world's most loved films just because of how much it annoys people.
"I’ve never seen any Star Wars,” she said.
“And I kind of don’t watch it now just because it infuriates people so much, like, ‘How? How have you never watched any, any Star Wars?’ And I just kind of wanna see how long I can make it now.”
Watch the full interview below (and honestly shame Brad Pitt and Leonard DiCaprio for never seeing 'The Sound Of Music' because some sins are simply unforgivable).
#OnceUponATimeInHollywood is about a golden age in film, so we put stars @LeoDiCaprio, @MargotRobbie, and Brad Pitt on the spot and asked which classic films they *haven’t* seen – #GoneWithTheWind, #StarWars, #SoundOfMusic – their answers will surprise you 😂 pic.twitter.com/97JqkpmEXE
