Maria Tutaia & Israel Folau Have Reportedly Tied The Knot
Silver Fern Maria Tutaia has reportedly married her long-term partner, aussie rugby star Israel Folau.
The couple tied the knot during a private ceremony in Kangaroo Valley, yesterday,
Fans of the pair found the timing to be a bit ironic, considering the wedding supposedly took place on the same day that the SSM (Same Sex Marriage) postal votes were revealed in Australia.
Folau faced a bit of backlash after he tweeted he would not support the law change.
I love and respect all people for who they are and their opinions. but personally, I will not support gay marriage.✌❤🙏

His manager Isaac Moses didn't confirm the wedding news, but news.com.au are reporting that the nuptials did take place.
"I've got no idea what you're talking about," he told the site. "I'm his manager, but I don't know everything."
ICYMI, NZ based Maria spoke to MTV earlier this year about her relationship with the Waratahs player (who resides in Sydney):
"It’s very, very difficult at the moment. I love Australia and he loves New Zealand but it’s not just us that we have to think of it’s our families as well," she said about the decision to move to Australia or stay in New Zealand to continue her career.
"We are both going through all those good and bad times so it’s nice to be with someone who knows exactly what you’re going through as an athlete."
