Mariah Carey’s new album ‘Angels Advocate’ has been cancelled.
The singer’s 13th studio album, originally planned for release on April 26th, is a remix edition of her latest record ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.’
A statement on Mariah Journal said, "[We are] able to confirm that the Angels Advocate album, a Remixed edition of Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel will not be released.
"According to Mariah's management, the album will not be put out in the regular album fashion but they are working on releasing some singles off the album. 'It won't go to waste,' we were assured."
But it’s not all doom and gloom for fans of the ‘Glitter’ star. The diva’s management team have revealed they’re considering recording a Christmas album.
"We are looking to go possibly to another studio album or Christmas album. The decision hasn't been totally made yet. It's a creative process that cannot be rushed."
