The Olsen Twins respond to Intern Lawsuit, slamming the claims as ‘groundless’
Fashionista twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been involved in the latest intern controversy, being subjects of a reported class-action lawsuit by an estimated 40 unpaid interns.
Lead plaintiff Shahista Lalani, former design intern, worked at The Olsens fashion label, The Row, for alleged 50-hour workweeks without pay or college credits.
Lalani even claimed she went to hospital for dehydration at one point during the internship, claiming they were very, “demanding.”

The twins have finally spoken out via spokesperson Annett Wolf who works for their company, Dualstar.
“As an initial matter, Dualstar is an organisation that is committed to treating all individuals fairly and in accordance with all applicable laws. The allegations in the complaint filed against Dualstar are groundless, and Dualstar will vigorously defend itself against plaintiff’s claims in court, not before the media. Dualstar is confident that once the true facts of this case are revealed, the lawsuit will be dismissed in its entirety.”
So much sass…at least they’ll all be well dressed in court.
