Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth call off engagement
It’s official. Reps for both Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have confirmed that the pair have called off their engagement.
The couple, who were together for almost four years, have been the subject of split rumours for months now, having only been spotted out together a handful of times this year.
According to E! News, the ‘Hunger Games’ actor began moving out of Miley’s Los Angeles home on Monday, just two days after the ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer unfollowed him on Twitter.
The last public appearance made by the couple was on August 8 at the red carpet premiere of Hemsworth’s film ‘Paranoia,’ but Liam was noticeably absent for Miley’s controversial performance at the ‘2013 MTV Video Music Awards’ a few weeks ago.
20-year-old Cyrus opened up about her wedding plans in a recent issue of Harper’s Bazaar, explaining: “I definitely don’t have time to deal with a wedding right now, but I will at some point.”
Miley and Liam met on the set of their 2010 film ‘The Last Song’ and became engaged in 2012.
“I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” the former Disney star told People at the time.
