Miley Cyrus lists MTV VMAs as her “biggest moment” of 2013
There’s no doubt that Miley Cyrus has been the name on everybody’s lips since her headline-hitting performance at the ‘2013 MTV Video Music Awards’ in August – so it’s no surprise the star lists the VMAs as her “biggest moment” of 2013.
The star dished on her whirlwind year before taking the stage at Power 96.1’s ‘Jingle Ball’ in Atlanta this week.
“Everyone else’s biggest moment of me was the VMAs,” the ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer told E! News.
“That was probably my biggest moment, I was pretty stoked to perform there, excited, you know.”
As for whether the 21-year-old superstar would take the VMA stage again, it looks like she’s leaving it up to MTV to make the decision for her.
“I doubt they’re every going to ask me back,” she shared. “Just kidding. Who knows.”
Either way, there’s no denying that her epic performance alongside Robin Thicke has paved the way for her future endeavours.
“It kind of just opened so many doors for me to just be like, alright, I’ve already pissed you off as much as I possibly can,” revealed Cyrus.
“So now I can kind of just be freer and kind of do whatever it is we want to do and also have a lot of fun.”
Speaking of her upcoming performances, Miley took to Twitter yesterday to share that she’ll be performing at the iconic ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ event in Times Square on December 31.
“Smilers! There’s been a change in my NYE plans @RyanSeacrest asked me to perform in Times Square for #RockinEve!!” she told her over 15 million Twitter followers.

Ryan Seacrest confirmed the news during an appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’ explaining that they were specifically looking for someone who had “created a lot of buzz” this year.
“We just added Miley Cyrus to be in Times Square right before the ball drops,” he said, according to New York Daily News.
“We try to look for the artist that’s created a lot of buzz and had a really big year.”
Miley had originally been scheduled to appear at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach with Pharrell Williams on New Year’s Eve.
