Miley Cyrus smashes Vevo record with ‘Wrecking Ball,’ unveils ‘Bangerz’ tracklist

The starlet reveals collaborations with Britney Spears, Nelly, Future and more…

Miley Cyrus has fulfilled her promise to fans of revealing the tracklisting for her new album ‘Bangerz’ if her raunchy new music video ‘Wrecking Ball’ broke a Vevo record.

Yesterday, the sledge hammer-wielding starlet hit 12.3 million views with her new clip, which became the highest viewed music video in 24 hours, toppling incumbent champs One Direction’s ‘Best Song Ever.’

The platinum-haired pop star tweeted her excitement of the news, exclaiming: "We broke the record :) We hit 12.3 million on Vevo :) Keep watching #wreckingballonvevo thank you Smilers."

True to her word, Miley later announced the song titles of her heavily hyped new release, ripe with A-list features including Britney Spears, Nelly, Future, Big Sean and French Montana.

‘Bangerz’ is set to drop on October 4, following the October 2 premiere of her one-hour MTV documentary ‘Miley: The Movement.’

The ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer commented on the doco’s intimate behind-the-scenes footage, revealing: “I want all my fans to come with me; to the studio, on the road, at performances. There's going to be a lot of ups and downs, and it's going to be completely insane. You've gotta be a part of the movement with me.”

In an exclusive sneak peek from MTV News, the starlet defended the backlash surrounding her scandalous MTV VMA performance.

“I don't pay attention to the negative. I've seen this play out so many times,” she said of the criticism.

“How many times have we seen this play out in pop music? Madonna's done it. Britney's done it. Every VMA performance, that's what you're looking for; you're wanting to make history,” the 20-year-old explained.
