Miley Cyrus unfollows fiancé Liam Hemsworth on Twitter
Miley Cyrus has unfollowed her fiancé Liam Hemsworth on Twitter, adding to the speculation that the couple’s four-year relationship has hit choppy waters once again.
The 20-year-old starlet reportedly pulled the plug on their micro-blogging relationship on Saturday while the Aussie actor was at a boxing match.
“Excited for @FloydMayweather vs. @CaneloOficial #TheOne @SHOSports @mgmgrand,” the ‘Hunger Games’ star tweeted over the weekend.
Miley and Liam have been the subject of breakup rumours for months now and have only been photographed together on a couple of occasions this year.
The pair met while filming the 2010 flick ‘The Last Song’ and got engaged in 2012, but back in April, Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus indicated that he didn’t expect to see his daughter walk down the aisle anytime soon.
During an appearance on ABC News, the ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ singer was asked about the rumours surrounding an alleged split.
“I don’t know. I know as I was writing a book, I wanted to keep that particular moment [Miley’s wedding] as open ended as possible. I didn’t know the answer,” he dished.
“They’re young, they’re kids, the great news is they’re great friends – they’re really good friends. I play it by ear, I know whatever’s meant to be, that’s the way it’s going to happen.”
The young couple last stepped out in public together at the premiere of Hemsworth's film ‘Paranoia’ in August, just a week before Cyrus's provocative performance at the ‘2013 MTV Video Music Awards.’
