Oh, Baby: The Dirty Dancing Remake Is Getting SLAMMED On Twitter
ABC's Dirty Dancing remake has finally aired in America, and everyone is losing their sh*t.... But not in a good way.
Fans of the iconic 80s film quickly took to social media to SLAM the reboot, which was told from a "fresh perspective."
The three-hour musical broke the number one rule: Don't change the story.
“This isn’t a replica of the original. This takes some liberties. It has the DNA of the original, but you are going to find out what happened to Baby and Johnny after that summer ended," Debra Messing told People.
"So there’s some additional surprises in there that are new."
To say people are pissed, would be an understatement, the reboot even remixed a EDM version of 'Hungry Eyes.'
Somebody needs to put this whole movie in the corner.... #DirtyDancing
