Bret Michaels' Miracle

Singer Ready To Rock Weeks After Brain Haemorrhage

Bret Michaels isn't going to let a little thing like a brain haemorrhage get in his way of world domination; only weeks after being released from hospital, the Poison rocker, is already ready to rock.

The 'Rock Of Love' star who recently survived a potentially fatal brain haemorrhage, claims the near death experience has given him a new lease on life, and has booked himself out solid for the rest of the year with appearances and performances.

The next couple of months will see the Poison frontman returning to the stage to continue his solo tour, finishing up his reality TV duties on the final of Donald Trump’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ and an appearance on Oprah Winfrey – his first interview since his shock hospitalisation.

Only a couple of weeks ago, his doc reported that his recovery is "fortunate", but the singer is not out of the woods yet. There are a few roadblocks which may inhibit his recovery, including his diabetes, which may cause issues with the glam rocker’s medication.

But evidently Bret isn’t one to wallow in self-pity. Just last week, he Bret told People magazine that he felt lucky to be alive and wanted to "continue to rock the world".

As well as continuing his solo dates until December, Michaels will kick off a tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd on June 10, and release his upcoming album ‘Custom Built’ on June 8.
