Inside Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding preparations
On Saturday, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will celebrate their nuptials in the city of love in one of the most highly-anticipated weddings of the year.
While its Kimmy’s third wedding, it’s Kanye’s first and he’s determined to make it one of the biggest and most extravagant events anyone has ever seen.
While the exact venue is still unconfirmed, we know the couple’s special day will reportedly be in Paris with a possible reception or second ceremony at the prestigious Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.
Construction is already well on its way in Florence with reports from Daily Mail claiming: “Row upon row of boxes, crates and even a crane were seen outside the 16th century fortress.”
A source close to the pair divulged some insider info on just how grand this wedding is going to be, telling US Weekly the weekend nuptials are “literally going to be Hollywood movie set level.”
A contractor from a company in Florence working on the event revealed "We are up to our necks with this wedding. The security surrounding this is huge. The organisers let us know day by day what they need."
While there will be “no more than 200 guests” at the wedding due to safety/security concerns according to Florence Council spokesman Marco Agnoletti, the event promises to be just as impressive and jam-packed with high profile guests.
Joining Kim’s A-List family, tennis pro Serena Williams and many more will not only be treated to a weekend of European luxury but will also reportedly be given a private tour of the Palace of Versailles – a rare opportunity usually reserved for royalty.
The Italian fortress is costing the pair a whopping $400,000 just in venue hire fees for the weekend which will go towards future “cultural projects in the city.”
