Kate Bosworth marries Michael Polish in intimate outdoor ceremony
After a one-year engagement, actress Kate Bosworth has said ‘I do’ to American director Michael Polish.
The pair, who met in 2011 on the set of ‘Big Sur,’ tied the knot in a romantic mountain top ceremony at The Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, Montana over the weekend.
According to Martha Stewart Weddings, who organised the special occasion, the blushing bride stunned in not one, but two Oscar de la Renta dresses.
The ‘Superman Returns’ star glowed in a beautiful radzimir-satin strapless ivory ball gown – featuring an eight foot long, sixteen foot wide train - for the ceremony and changed into a floral embroidered tulle dress for the reception. Meanwhile, the groom donned a dashing three-piece charcoal Brooks Brothers suit.
According to E! Online, the couple exchanged their self-penned wedding vows in front of around 60 close friends and family, including actress Lake Bell and Academy Award–winning actor Walton Goggins. In addition, Michael’s 15-year old daughter from his first marriage, Jasper Polish, was also present.
Kate revealed in the September issue of Instyle UK that it was love at first sight for the couple and that Michael planned to make her his wife even before the pair started dating!
“I never even dated my husband-to-be. He said to me after just a few weeks, before we were even together, ‘I'm going to marry you.’ He just knew,” the 30-year-old shared.
Congrats to the new Mr and Mrs Polish!
