Pop princess Katy Perry has been branded "obscene and lascivious" by a disgruntled concert-goer after some onstage antics during her performance at the Indian Premier League opening in April.
The always theatrical Ms Perry, who married her now ex husband Russell Brand in India back in 2010, sparked controversy after she and Australian cricketer Doug Bollinger got a bit too playful for one of the locals.
According to UK paper The Sun, Bollinger joined the 'Wide Awake' singer onstage and put his arms around her, gripping her microphone to demonstrate a cricket bat move.
The pair's seemingly innocent actions upset and offended local lawyer K. Jebakumar, who believes they committed offences under India's Indecent Representation of Women Act.
The complaint was filed with the Madras High Court, but Perry and Bollinger have not actually been charged with indecency, nor are they required to appear in court when the claim is heard on July 31.
