Miley Cyrus gears up for the ‘2013 MTV EMA’!
After shocking us all with her foam-finger/ 'Blurred Lines' extravaganza at the 'VMAs' only months ago, Miley Cyrus is back promising another memorable performance at the 'MTV EMA' in Amsterdam today.
Already causing a stir with a raunchy shower time snap this morning, Cyrus has assured MTV that no foam fingers will be harmed this time round. In fact, even her trademark Teddy Bears will be ditched...
“I’ve had this vision for a while: I’ve wanted to somehow involve something around aliens – because I really love aliens. Obviously, I really loved Teddy Bears so I built a whole show around Teddy Bears,” she said of her VMA performance.
“And I also like aliens, so I built the show around aliens. And when I knew that RedFoo was going to be there, I just felt he was the perfect person to get involved in what I'm all about, which is just having fun on the show, and not doing anything too serious.”
Even so, the 20-year-old has admitted that she’s taking a few precautions this time around.
“God, I don’t know [what people will think]. If I only knew,” she said. “But I can't think of any kind of prop that I would use in disrespect and offend. So I think I'm good about that. No Foam Finger Association is going to call me. I made custom [alien costumes for her performance], I made my own. No one owns aliens.”
LMFAO’s Redfoo has also taken it upon himself to give the tongue-wagging star a serious chat, warning her against any cheeky surprises.
“I'm just going to tell her 'Look, Miley, I don't want any surprises. Let me know what's going on.' I run a tight ship. This is serious to me. I'm a professional party starter.”
But after her naked stint in ‘Wrecking Ball’ and her morning shower selfie, we’re willing to bet Miles has a few sneaky tricks up her sleeve.
"Amsterdam is such an amazing place to be in, and I'm obviously so happy to be here, and so excited to be at the EMAs,” she continued.
“To be here, and be on my record, and my record's doing so well ... it's amazing.. I didn't know how it was going to be once I was in somewhere that I'm not from, and how people were going to relate to the record, and it's been amazing.”
