Pixie Geldof cancels Coachella gig to grieve loss of sister Peaches Geldof
Pixie Geldof has cancelled her upcoming DJ set at the Coachella Valley Music Festival to grieve the sudden loss of her sister Peaches Geldof.
Pixie was scheduled to play at the Old Navy event at the highly-anticipated festival on April 12 but has understandably decided to put any work commitments on hold.
"We can confirm that Pixie Geldof was scheduled to DJ at The Old Navy Oasis event, but is no longer participating," a rep from the event told Digital Spy.
Bob Geldof has also dropped everything to be home with his family having landed at Heathrow Airport yesterday from the US to assist Pixie and forensics as they search Peaches’ home in Kent.
According to sources nothing suspicious and "no evidence of hard drugs, no visible signs of injury and no suicide note" has been found in the family home she shared with husband Thomas and two adoring sons, Astala and Phaedra.
The local Police Department have ruled the post-mortem examination of the late Peaches Geldof’s body as inconclusive and experts are now waiting on results from the toxicology report which will hopefully shed light on what caused Peaches’ sudden death.
