She’s climbed the Aussie charts with her hits ‘Hell No’ and ‘Sunshine,’ but now Ricki-Lee Coulter has her eyes set on conquering Europe!
The local beauty told MTV Australia that she’s also planning on staying over on that side of the world on a more permanent basis!
“I was just in London and Ibiza meeting with all the heads of EMI from around the world and as soon as I can get over to Europe, that’s the plan. Early next year I’m going to go and move to London and you know we’ll see what happens.”
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old, who rose to fame on ‘Australian Idol’ back in 2004, she says that she thinks reality TV shows provide great opportunities for finding new talent.
“I get really frustrated with people who turn their noses up at talent shows like The Voice and X-Factor,” she added to MTV Australia.
“I saw Idol as an opportunity and it worked and I’ve had eight years of amazing success and lots of ups and downs and lots of crazy times and I get to live my dream and do what I’ve always wanted to do.”
Meanwhile, the singer’s preparing for two live shows in Australia in September, to showcase her latest album ‘Fear & Freedom’ which drops on August 17.
