Rita will be playing opposite Jamie Doran as Christian Grey’s adopted sister Mia, and will be joining other previously announced cast members Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele), Eloise Mumford (Anastasia’s friend Kate), Luke Grimes (Christian’s brother Elliot), Victor Rasuk (Anastasia’s friend Jose), Jennifer Ehle (Anastasia’s mother Carla) and Max Martini (Christian’s bodyguard).
Filming for the adaptation of the raunchy E.L James novel has already begun in Vancouver, with James sharing a picture of a clapperboard on Instagram yesterday.
According to E! News, Doran and Johnson were also seen filming a scene at a café in the city’s GasTown District the same day.
31-year-old Doran was photographed looking slick in a grey suit jacket and white shirt, however there have been no snaps of the sexy leading lady as yet.
