Rita Ora talks working with boyfriend Calvin Harris
Rita Ora has opened up about what it’s like to work with her boyfriend and legendary DJ Calvin Harris who wrote her latest track ‘I Will Never Let You Down.’
Talking to BBC Radio 1 in the UK, Ms Ora described the song as “a love song you can dance to” adding that she was very “nervous” to hit the studio with her main man.
"I was actually a bit nervous because he's never seen me in work mode," she told host Nick Grimshaw. “But literally just ten minutes in he was so blunt. I think it's the Scottish-ness in him, he was just like 'no' etc. and it happened so quick.”
We're sure fans are glad to hear the pair didn’t have a falling out due to creative differences. Instead, the British beauty described recording with Harris as “a very good experience.”
"It's about having fun and because I take everything so seriously, I'm always a bit like work, work. He's like, 'you really need to just enjoy it.'
And I agree, so I'm just enjoying it right now. And I'm happy we kind of did it together. It's a nice little feeling for me, it makes it personal." She added.
Rita released the clip for ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ yesterday. In the new music video she rocks a platinum bob and some serious early 90’s style.
"We just wanted to feel good” she told MTV. “It just makes you feel happy ... that's what I wanted to create."
The couple have been together for almost a year and squashed recent split rumours by showing some PDA on the Grammys red carpet.
