MTV US Are Bringing Back Your Fave 90s Shows With Nostalgic New Channel!
Remember all those shows you used to watch in the 90s? They were the sh*t, don't even try to deny it. But once the 90s disappeared and we ventured into an era of wacked out kids shows where they speak in weird sounds the days of great TV were seemingly gone.
Today MTV US have announced that they will be launching a new channel wholly dedicated to all those classic shows.
VH1 Classic is being rebranded to MTV Classic as of August 1, and will be "an eclectic mix of fan-favourite MTV series and music programming drawn from across its rich history, with a special focus on the 1990s and early 2000s," it was announced today.
Not only should August 1 be marked in your calendars for some mega nostalgia, but it also celebrates the launch of our humble yet awesome AF company - which began 35 years ago in 1981. The first hour of MTV Classic will be the exact copy of the first hour of programming ever aired in MTV's history!
You won't be able to view it on TV here in Aus but the new age of tech savvy inventions has meant you can watch it via Facebook Live.
Everything old is new again.
