Starting her music career under the name Katy Hudson she struggled to break into the charts with her self titled debut album, only after signing with Capitol and changing her stage name to the now well known Katy Perry did she find success with her 2008 mainstream album 'One For The Boys' featuring the hits 'I Kissed A Girl', 'Hot n Cold' and 'Waking Up In Vegas'.
Her follow up album 'Teenage Dream' and subsequent re-release 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection' enjoyed more of the same success and saw Katy become one of the the most successful Female Pop artists of her time.
