She’s bagged four awards, scooped 28 nominations and wowed fans across the world with unforgettable live performances – yep, when it comes to the ‘2011 MTV Video Music Awards’
Britney Spears is unstoppable!
But while she may be running out of room on her mantle piece to display all her beloved Moonmen, the ‘Hold It Against Me’ star is super excited to hear she’s up for two more gongs at this year’s bash!
"Oh my goodness, I'm completely flattered," gushed Brit when MTV News told her she was nominated for ‘Best Pop Video’ and ‘Best Choreography’ for her smash hit ‘Til the World End.’
"That is amazing! Thank you so much for telling me. That's awesome!"
And while she faces some stiff competition in the form of Brit superstar Adele and chart-topper Bruno Mars, she insists she’s just happy to be recognised.
"I grew up listening to MTV. It's just such an iconic thing to be able to participate in.
"To even be presented an award is just so flattering and I'm honored. I'm excited."
Meanwhile, the pop princess, who’s currently in the middle of her ‘Femme Fatale’ tour, is also pumped to hear ‘Jersey Shore’ DJ Pauly D will be joining her shows as an opening act next month!
Confessing that she’s a secret fan of the fist-pumping housemates, she added to MTV News,
"It's a guilty pleasure," she admitted. "I've seen two or three episodes; it's cool."
