In an interview with The Today Show, the wildchild’s mother Dina, revealed,
“She wants to start her own facilities, help other children. She’s so public, we can only be positive and look to the future to help other families.”
And while the ‘Mean Girls’ star may be qualified to dish out advice on what outfit to wear to court or how to accessorize a SCRAM bracelet – it seems she’s still got a way to go until she’s conquered her own demons…
Discussing Li-Lo’s progress at the Betty Ford Center in California, Dina added,
“We take it one day at a time, addiction is difficult.
"She's been in a couple facilities, but this one to me has really changed her."
Which could explain why she’s agreed to patch things up with her estranged father Michael.
Despite publicly slating him in the past, and refusing to see him for seven months, the troubled actress allowed him to visit her at the facility this week.
A source told Radar Online, “It was an emotional reunion. There were hugs, kisses and even a few tears when Michael and Lindsay first saw each other."
