Molly Meldrum has finally left hospital!

The Aussie music veteran, who’s been recovering at The Alfred Hospital after a near fatal fall at his Melbourne home on December 15, has entered a private rehabilitation centre.

“This week Molly was successfully transferred by ambulance from the Alfred to Epworth Rehabilitation,” his brother Brian said in a statement.

“As well as his physical recovery, doctors are carefully monitoring his post traumatic amnesia; and he continues to need minimum stimulation as part of that treatment.”

The host of MTV Classic’s ‘Mastered By Molly’ suffered a broken shoulder, a fractured skull, cracked ribs and vertebrae, swelling to the brain and a punctured lung after falling three metres while putting up Christmas decorations.

And while it’s positive news for the 65-year-old TV star, Brian added that his brother still has “a long rehabilitation road ahead of him.”

Our thoughts and hearts are with Molly and his family during his recovery.
