After weeks of rumours swirling around the showbiz circuit – ‘Aussie Idol’
star Guy Sebastian
has confirmed he’s set to be a daddy!
“2day we r officially out of our first trimester so it excites me 2 announce that Jules & I r expecting our first child!” the ‘Like It Like That’ singer revealed on his official Facebook page.
“Cant w8 2 b parents! Thanks to everyone for your love over the years we can't wait to introduce you all to him/her/them soon! Haha um no lets hope not them!”
The news comes after his buddy and fellow ‘X-Factor’ judge Ronan Keating accidentally let slip on the 'Kyle and Jackie O Show' this week that the singer’s wife Jules was expecting.
Tricked into spilling the deets by the show’s host Kyle Sandilands, who teased, “We read in the magazines today, it looks like the cat is out of the bag with the Guy Sebastian and Jules expecting the baby thing. So that’s good news.”
The Irish popstar replied, “Yeah. Well Guy told me a while ago. I didn’t realise the news was out. That’s great. I’m really excited for them.”
But, in fact, it wasn’t – and Kyle was forced to confess, “I just made up the magazine thing, so that’s not even true. So thanks for confirming that.”
A red-faced Ronan did his best to laugh it off, adding,
“I heard the rumour as well, I don’t know if it’s true.”
