2011 is set to be a HUGE year for Aussie’s fave indie rockers The Temper Trap.

As well as working on a follow-up to their debut album ‘Conditions,’ the Melbourne-born band could take home their very first BRIT Award!

The four-piece are up for ‘International Breakthrough Act’ at the UK’s biggest music awards bash – which kicks off at London’s O2 Arena on February 15.

The ‘Sweet Disposition’ stars will battle it out against teen cutie Justin Bieber, US rock band The National, chart-topper Bruno Mars and the ‘Glee’ cast to take home the prestigious gong.

And while The Temper Trap continue their globetrotting success – Mark Ronson has announced he’ll be treating fans to two further Aussie shows alongside his appearance at the ‘Future Music Festival’ in March.

The uber producer and his new band The Business International will play two intimate gigs in Sydney and Melbourne – supported by New Zealand’s hot new electro-pop sensation Zowie.

Don’t miss the infamous music icon live in action when tix go on sale Monday January 24.
