But just in case there was any shred of her good girl image left, the ‘Hannah Montana’ star has made sure to notch her naughty antics up a level.
The singer, who turned 18 earlier this month, has been caught on video smoking the hallucinogenic drug Salvia through a bong.
The clip, posted on TMZ, which is set to shock her fans across the world, shows the ‘Disney’ actress inhaling the psychedelic substance at her home in Los Angeles.
While the drug is actually legal in California, it’s believed to have similar effects to LSD.
After taking a hit from the glass instrument, the teen idol is seen laughing hysterically and then mistakes one of her male friends in he room for her ex Liam Hemsworth.
Flopping back into her chair, she giggles, "Oh I'm gonna lose it now... I'm going. Having a little bit of a bad trip.
"Is that a f****** Liam lookalike or what the hell is that? Is that my boyfriend? Is that my boyfriend? Oh my God, he looks so much like Liam.
"Is it me tripping? Is it me tripping?"
The shocking clip ends with her pal telling the hitmaker,
“You are going to s*** a brick when you see this. I think you need some more."
And while Miley’s yet to address the incident, her father Billy Ray has publicly voiced his concerns about his daughter’s behaviour on Twitter.
After the video clip emerged, he told fans,
“Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. Im so sad. There is much beyond my control right now.”
