Pixie Lott may be just 18, but she seems to have her head screwed on pretty tightly.
Talking to Company magazine about her “crazy” nights out, she insists she won’t be following in the footsteps of troubled star Britney Spears by going off the rails.
“I have to admit I do like to go out and party, but I’ve no plans to do a Britney.
“At my age, you are wild when you go out, that’s a fact, but I have to try and keep it to a controlled level.”
The ‘Boys and Girls’ singer, who’s been nominated for three Brit Awards, added, “I read that my management gave me the Winehouse talk, but actually they just told me to be careful and don’t be seen doing stupid things.
“The trouble is, even if I’m not doing anything bad, the papers write bad stuff – they call you a dirty stop-out, say I was wasted and exaggerate. I only have to blink in a picture and they’ll say I’m drunk.”
