‘The Hills’ may be over, but the drama never stops for Speidi!
Last weekend (September 13) Spencer Pratt, who was in Costa Rica in a bid to win back ex-wifey Heidi Montag, was arrested on a felony firearm on his way back to the states.
The former Hills star was sent to a local jail, but was released after turning in his weapons and a signed confession.
The fame-lover wasted no time twittering the whole incident:
“As part of my spiritual cleansing I've spent the last week living alone in the jungle, reflecting on my past transgressions, and working to become a better person. I had to live off the land, and hunt to survive. As I departed the country this morning to continue my spiritual journey, I mistakenly brought my hunting weapons to the airport. It was an honest mistake, and they sent me on my way."
And then:
“Costa Rican jail smells like children's tears. And soup. Delicious soup.”
Just a few days prior, Spencer uncharacteristically issued a heart-felt apology to Heidi (via the media, of course) saying he’d “failed spectacularly” throughout their divorce proceedings.
"I horribly embarrassed the one person that meant the world to me,” he said, referring to his threats to release a sex tape of the blonde bombshell if she didn’t rip up the divorce papers. “For my outrageous and infantile behavior, I offer Heidi my most sincere apologies. Over the years, her love, support, and friendship were always given, but never properly cherished. I let her down.”
And it looks like Heidi’s accepted his apology. Just yesterday (Monday September 13) the couple were snapped together at the Avon Walk For Breast Cancer .
