Heralded as the comeback performance to top all others, the audience looked on with a mixture of shock and intrigue as Brit stumbled through her badly lip synced performance in an ill fitting jewel-encrusted bra and hot pants that became the talk of Tinsel Town…

Will she or won't she? For weeks, speculation was rife whether Brit would peform a ‘do over’ of the previous year’s disastrous performance with everyone who was anyone weighing in with opinions about what an appearance might do for the singer's career.



Instead, a happy and healthy Brit, who was glowing in a silver sequined dress – took the stage for a different reason – to collect the very first Moonmen of her career! Host Russell Brand hailed the "launch of a very new Britney Spears era" saying: "Consider this the resurrection of Britney Spears. If there was a female Christ, it's Britney."

In just a few short years, Brit has reclaimed her rightful postition as reigning pop princess... Her tumultuous times are a mere memory, she's closer to her family than ever, has two gorgeous sons, a blazing career, top charting albums, sold out tours and now, sources are saying that her 30th just might mark the year that her beau Jason Trawick puts a ring on it!
