The biggest stars in the world came together today for the ‘2010 MTV European Music Awards!’
Showing off their finest frocks and posing for pics in front of thousands of diehard fans – celebs including Rihanna, Ke$ha and Miley Cyrus hit the unique purple carpet at the Caja Magica in Madrid.
One of the first to strut her stuff was host for the evening, Eva Longoria.

Proving there’s nothing ‘Desperate’ about her, the stunning actress looked hot to trot in an ultra short sequined satin number, designed by her pal Victoria Beckham.
Also hiking up the hemline was hip-shaker Shakira. The Columbian singer showed off her enviable figure in a slit-to-the-navel shimmery gown.

Meanwhile opting to cover up with a floor length Marchesa dress was pop princess Rihanna.
The ‘Rude Boy’ star looked angelic in her flowing white one-shouldered outfit, which set off her newly dyed red locks.

Also going for something long was Miley Cyrus. Looking far beyond her teens, the singer, who’s known for her more revealing costumes, opted for a peasant style number with a high neck and tie.

And never one to follow convention, Ke$ha decided to match the carpet with purple satin pants! Teaming the bottoms with a shredded vest and big blonde waves – at least it was a step up from the bin bag she chose for the ‘MTV VMAs’…

And talking of trashy, Taylor Momsen looked ‘Pretty Reckless’ in an unbuttoned men’s shirt teamed with her favourite thigh-high boots.

Perhaps she should have taken some tips from Princess of Poughkeepsie Snooki!

The ‘Jersey Shore’ babe swapped her Uggs and trackies for a glam red-and-black sequined corset with a feathered Sherri Hill miniskirt - which she explained was a homage to her Spanish heritage!
