After jamming with her on stage at the ‘2011 MTV Video Music Awards,’
earlier this year – Brian May is officially a Lady Gaga fan!
In fact the Queen legend is so nuts about the wacky singer, he even wants her to front his band!
“I worked with Lady Gaga and she’s very creative and is someone we’ve talked about singing, fronting the band with,” the guitarist told the Daily Express.
The ‘We Will Rock You’ stars, whose original frontman Freddie Mercury died in 1991, have been left without a lead singer since his replacement, Paul Rodgers, left the group five years ago.
And now with whispers of a new tour, the rockers reckon the ‘Born This Way’ hitmaker could be the perfect addition!
“We talk about going out on the road all the time but there’s a bit of a singer problem, to put it mildly,” he added.
“[Gaga’s] not just a singer, she writes her own material.”
And while the chart-topping songstress is yet to respond to the offer of a full time role in the band – she has agreed to join the guys temporarily…
“We were debating the idea of a TV show where we have all these guest stars,” said Brian.
“Lady Gaga has said she would like to do something with us.”
