She may be famous for singing about kissing girls and wild Friday nights out – but that all looks set to change for Katy Perry.
The pop superstar, who split from her hubby of 14-months Russell Brand this month, is said to be dealing with her heartbreak by putting her tears into new music.
“Ever since problems started to emerge, she penned her thoughts in a diary which she goes back to to draw upon for lyrics for her songs,” a source told The Sun.
"She has always said that writing is almost a form of therapy for her and she would often be found in her dressing room on tour writing in her diary.
"She spent a lot of time in Hawaii over Christmas writing lyrics to two of her latest tracks."
Meanwhile, it seems new tracks aren’t the only thing helping the chart-topper get over her recent break-up.
While most girls head for the salon for a dramatic new hair do, the hitmaker, who’s already tried out every style under the sun, will be fluttering some new lashes instead!
According to OK Magazine, the brunette babe is launching her own range of falsies with make-up brand Eyelure this year.
“We’re really excited to be working with Katy as her natural style and personality are a fantastic fit for the brand,” an Eyelure spokesman told OK Magazine.
