The 24-year-old, who stripped her clothes ahead of her recent jail sentence, will play the risqué role of 70s porn star turned anti-pornography spokeswoman Linda Lovelace in the new release.
Recent rumours had suggested Li-Lo had been dropped from her new acting job after being put behind bars – but the movie’s director Matthew Wilder insists they aren’t true.
“We never considered recasting Inferno, and never would recast it,’ he says.
“There is no actor more ideally suited to this role than Lindsay.
“We are content to start production after she finishes what the court mandated.”
