With the final episode ever of ‘The Hills’ looming ever-closer, MTV will be following the stories of all ‘The Hills’ characters you’ve grown to love, (and hate!) in the coming days.
Today, we take a look at the glamorous adventures of ultimate playboy Brody Jenner, who seems to have broken more hearts than eaten hot dinners!
Stirring up plenty of drama by dating a good portion of the cast including Lauren Conrad, Kristen Cavallari, Whitney Port and Audrina Patridge (plus plenty of other girls in between), Brody has worked tirelessly at maintaining his rep as the resident Casanova – and his perennial party ways mean there’s never a dull moment for the handsome heart-throb!
The Prince Of Malibu
Olympian athlete Bruce Jenner and songwriter Linda Thompson welcome their son, Brody into the world on August 21, 1983. He grows up in the lap of luxury with a lush L.A. lifestyle, with celebrity childhood friends like Nicole Richie. A few years on, Brody, his music producer step dad, his song-writing mum and his brother Brandon as well as his best friend Spencer Pratt star on the reality TV series ‘The Princes Of Malibu’ which is about Brody’s and his peeps living the high life off their parents dime. The show didn’t last long, but it was good for something - introuding Brody to his one true love – reality television.
Meanwhile, Brody’s scheming best mate Spencer Pratt is already showing his true colours. When Brody starts dating Nicole Richie, Spencer blabs to the press saying that he planned the whole relationship so Brody could be “The Guy Who Got Nicole Richie to Eat”.
First Love...
When ‘Laguna Beach’ star Talan Torriero introduces Jenner to his friend and MTV costar Kristin Cavallari, the two California beauties hit it off immediately.
Kristin calls their love her "first mature relationship" adding, "he's good-looking and he makes me laugh for hours." In August 2006, after about a year of dating, they call it quits.
‘The Hills’ Heart-breaker!
Brody hits the big time when he begins seeing Lauren Conrad, and he agrees to start appearing on a new reality show that the blonde beauty is filming, called ‘The Hills’.
Brody takes to reality drama like a duck to water - Lauren and Brody only date a few months, but that doesn’t stop her being crushed when Brody hooks up with her best friend Jen Bunney – on her birthday! Burn!
L.C decides to say goodbye to her long-time bestie, and keeps seeing Brody. But now it’s Brody’s turn to lose a life-long friend - when Spencer accuses him of “rolling with the enemy”, Brody decides he's had enough of his buddy's manipulating ways.
The LC Brody on-off saga kept us entertained for a season or so, but Lauren & Brods weren’t meant to be. It seems Brody’s more interested in Playboy Bunnies than fashionistas!
Girls Come And Go, But ‘Bromance’ Is Forever…
In between shooting for 'The Hills', Brody decides it’s time to indulge in some man on man action and MTV documents the proceedings for a new show called 'Bromance'. Moving on from the messy breakup with ex BFF Spencer, Brod’s put his heart on his sleve and took the phrase bros before hos to a new level with a lotta beer slurpin, booty slappin' fun.
Playboy Bunnies Bring The Drama
In Season 5 of ‘The Hills’, Brody once again is at the centre of the action. But this time he's sharing the spotlight with not one but two beauties - Audrina and Playboy model Jayde Nicole!
When Brody began dating buxom brunette Jayde, he was pretty chuffed he’d managed to bag himself the '2008 Playmate of the Year'. But then Audrina decided that to help her forget Justin Bobby, she needed to act on her ‘little crush’ on Brody. After crashing Brody’s ‘boy’s vacation’ in Hawaii, and a lot of fliriting, the two engaged in a sneaky closed-door sleepover. Brody confesses to his buddies and Jayde he “messed up and cheated” , and Jayde had no hesitation about sharpening her claws and using Audrina as a scratching post!
Then Jayde gave us some real drama to drool over by publically declaring war with Audrina on twitter “… not only are you a w@#*e you are the dumbest human being I have EVER met, so don't talk shit about Brody” Meow! We love it!
You Never Forget Your First Love…
A few months later, Brody is having relationship problems of his own, and he starts to wonder whether his needy girlfriend Jayde is worth the trouble.
With a misguided fling with Justin Bobby well and truly behind her, Kristin Cavallari, who is back on 'The Hills' adding some spice to storylines, turns her attention back to former flame Brody.
The two kick-off a ‘friends with benefits’ arrangement, but it’s not long before Brody’s attention wanders, to the sweet and beautiful McKayla. But Kristin doesn’t take competition well, and it’s not long before she has Brody to herself again… But for how long?
Life Goes On…
After saying farewell to ‘The Hills’, it appears Brody interest in reality stars has waned, and instead, starts wooing divorced singer Avril Lavigne! The new pair, who make their mutual affection public on Twitter, get matching tattoos and indulge in some PDA around the country, sending the gossip tabs into meltdown. The duo, who’ve been inseparable lately insist it’s the real deal.
Now, it’s rumoured that Brody and Avril’s romance is set to become the stuff of reality TV… So what’s next for reality TV favourite lothario? Well, one things for sure – he won’t be off our screens for long!
