Forget Bieber fever – here at MTV Australia Royal Wedding fever has officially taken over!

And with just a few hours to go until the ceremony of the century kicks-off, we’re not the only ones excited to see Prince William and Kate Middleton make their fairytale romance official!

Showbiz royalty the Beckhams, who jetted into London especially for the bash, are among the lucky few busy preening and primping themselves ahead of the big day.

And football hero David admits he can’t wait! He told the Daily Mail,

"I think a royal wedding, it's amazing. It really is amazing. Our country needs it. Our country wants it. The British public love the royal family.

"I was brought up around the royal family and around loving the royal family with my granddad, with my nan.”

And while the sportstar’s tipped to be wearing a made-to-measure Ralph Lauren suit, all eyes are sure to be on his missus Victoria’s choice of gown.

According to the Daily Mail, the pregnant Spice Girl is planning to wear one of her own chic designs to attend the lavish Westminster Abbey service.

And while the superstar couple will be joined at the upcoming nuptials by several other famous faces, including Sir Elton John, Guy Ritchie, Rowan Atkinson and Australia’s very own Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, others haven’t been quite so fortunate…

British hottie Robert Pattinson is one of the well-known names to be left off the list, telling ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’

“I’m not invited, actually..I was shocked.”

Meanwhile, teen Queen Miley Cyrus, who was bowled over by the “fabulous” British crown jewels during her recent trip to the UK, told the AP she wished she’d been asked to be a flower girl in order to bag one of the “amazing” dresses.

And while R-Patz and Miley are sure to be glued to the TV Stateside, one celeb who’s seriously unhappy about being left out of the celebrations is pop princess Lily Allen.

The ‘Smile’ star, who performed at the ’Concert for Diana’ at Wembley Stadium in 2007 alongside Joss Stone, is fuming after the soul songstress bagged an invite and she didn’t!

Taking to her Twitter page, she ranted,

“Well, you can quote me as 'outraged'. Why does bloody Joss Stone get an invite and not moi? I sang at the Diana concert too!”

Meanwhile, fellow Brit singer Ellie Goulding has reportedly been signed up to perform at the official wedding reception.

According to The Sun, the 24-year-old will take to the stage in front of 300 friends and family and is expected to sing her cover of Elton John’s classic hit ‘Your Song.’
