As hoards of crowds gather at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles – MTV brings you all the action from the world premiere of ‘Eclipse’ as it happens, RIGHT HERE!
And as our favourite Hollywood superstars prepare to walk the red carpet – we can reveal a spooky secret about leading ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson.
The hunky Brit, who plays the role of Edward Cullen , is even more fitted to his vampire role than you might think!
According to genealogists, R-Patz is a distant relative of Vlad III Dracula.
Anastasia Tyler from ancestry.com says,
"Tracing Pattinson's family back to Vlad was difficult research, but the pieces that unravelled created the perfect accompaniment to the Twilight Saga.
"Without any myth or magic, we find royalty and vampires lurking in Pattinson's life - making his story just as supernatural as the one he's playing on screen."
And talking of spooky secrets – Taylor Lautner has revealed one of his own!
The werewolf cutie revealed he became so close to Rob whilst filming, at one point it felt like they were going to kiss.
Talking about a scene in the upcoming movie where they have a furious argument, the actor told Entertainment Weekly,
“He and I were this close to each other - we are literally, like, an inch away - and we’re screaming at each other.
Their co-star Kristen Stewart then interrupted, saying, “And about to kiss.”
Taylor recalled, “And a couple of moments it felt like that!”
And talking of getting cosy - Kellan Lutz has revealed the moment two female fans turned up at his hotel room and almost caught him naked!
The Emmett Cullen star told Parade,
"When we were filming in Oregon I was in my hotel room and there was a knock on the door.
"I had just gotten out of the shower and I grabbed a towel. Thank God I didn't just throw open the door because I was practically naked.
"I heard voices going, 'Emmett, we're your fans', and I could tell they were near tears. So I put some clothes on as fast as I could, opened the door and it was two lovely ladies holding a giant basket full of goodies for all of us."
And on the subject of cringey moments – K-Stew has revealed how she and Taylor busted out their favourite Miley Cyrus tracks during a recent karaoke night in South Korea.
Speaking on ‘Jimmy Kimmel’s Total Eclipse Of The heart,’ the pair confessed how they spent a night singing their hearts out to their fave cheesy pop tunes.
Taylor joked, “I’d say the hit of the night was probably ‘The Climb,’” to which Kristen, who’s previously admitted she’s a huge fan of the popstar, replied, “No! It was ‘Party In The USA!’”
