Kanye West has been brought in from the cold after landing celebrity bible, Entertainment Weekly's Album Of The Decade.

The snappy rapper - who's gone underground since invading Taylor Swift's VMAs acceptance speech - got the accolade for his disc, 'The College Dropout'.

And he hit up his blog to say how happy he was, even addressing the notorious Swift incident.

Kannerz penned: "Wow… This is really flattering… I've had some ups and down this year, well actually this decade.

"Just seeing this cover takes me back to thet time in my life... We loved 50 Cent but we wanted to be the yang. We wanted to wear pink polos and rap about being hurt instead of being invincible."

After thanking a long list of contributors, people who inspired him and his late mum, Kanye added: "Thank you for this acknowledgment and for putting [Jay Z's] 'The Blueprint' on the list.

"I also loved [Outkast's] 'The Love Below' and [50 Cent's] 'Get Rich Or Die Trying' also. They both equally deserbed the number one spot in my eyes but there can only be one number one!!!"

Ah, that's the Kanye we know and love!
