Pre-orders of Susan Boyle’s debut album, ’I Dreamed A Dream’, are outnumbering Whitney Houston’s new long-player and The Beatles’ reissued back catalogue.

The fuzzy-haired 48-year-old, who shot to global fame after appearing on UK reality show, ’Britain’s Got Talent’, has topped the bestsellers list on Amazon.com, months before her disc is released.

The Scots lady’s debut will hit shops on November 24, but tens of thousands of copies have already been snapped up.

Poor Whitney Houston - who releases her comeback album ’I Look To You’ this week - and the remaining Beatles members - whose digitally remastered albums go on sale on September 9 - have had to take second place to the surprise singing sensation.

And self-confessed virgin SuBo has a surprise in store – she’s covered a Madonna song on the album.

But fear not, she won't be panting her way through ’Justify My Love’ or ’Erotica’ - she’s taken on power ballad ’You’ll See’.

An insider explained: “Susan chose it herself – it’s a song she has loved for years…She sang it at auditions for TV shows and music contests when she used to be cruelly turned away by people.

"At the end, when she was sometimes reduced to tears, she used to say, ‘You’ll See’. And she’s proof she can do it now as one of the most famous women in the world.”

Tune-in to, ‘The Beatles: A Day In The Life’, 24 hours of Beatlemania, this Wednesday (September 9) from 12am on Vh1.
