According to US Magazine, the songstress announced her big news on Halloween with a witty pic on jessicasimpson.com, which showed the bombshell kitted out as a mummy with the caption:
"It's true, I'm going to be a mummy!"
It’s Jess’ first baby with her fiancé NFL pro Eric Johnson. The pair got engaged back in November 2010 after six months of dating, within days of her ex-husband Nick Lachley announcing his engagement to Vanessa Minillo.
"I met a wonderful man," she tweeted back in September. "Damn, I'm lucky."
A pal said to US Magazine in December: "He really loves her. . . He's a low key guy. He's not into the glitz and materialism of Hollywood at all."
"Every day is a romantic day with him," she gushed in December. "I'm very blessed."
But don’t be expecting Jess to rush down the aisle in a maternity gown – wedding plans are still up in the air!
A pal told the magazine: "She can't figure out what kind of day she wants. Some days she wants a big wedding in Hawaii, then other days she wants something closer to home."
