Looks like it could be party time at the Spielberg house today, with the director’s latest flick ‘Lincoln’ earning a record 13 nominations in the ‘2013 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards’!

The film, which is based on President Lincoln’s time at the helm during the American Civil War, walked away with the most nods, including Best Director, Best Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis, Best Supporting Actor for Tommy Lee Jones and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Following close behind with 11 nominations was ‘Les Miserables,’ with Aussie actor Hugh Jackman receiving a nod in the Best Actor category.

Reigning ‘It’ girl Jennifer Lawrence scooped up four nominations, both for her starring role as Katniss Everdeen in ‘The Hunger Games’ and for ‘Silver Linings Playbook,’ which has her pinned for Best Actress, Best Actress in a Comedy and Best Acting Ensemble.

Despite the hype surrounding the flick, the latest James Bond instalment, ‘Sky Fall,’ was left out of the Best Picture category, but has earned nominations for Original Song, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for Judi Dench, Best Actor in an Action Movie for Daniel Craig, Best Supporting Actor for Javier Bardem, Best Action Movie and Best Cinematography.

The 18th annual ‘Critics’ Choice Movie Awards’ ceremony will be held in California on January 10.
