and now Joe Jonas looks set to respond by penning a track about his ex too!
When quizzed about the songbird’s personal lyrics, the boyband cutie, who reportedly dumped the country pop startlet via text in 2008, insisted two can play that game.
“I think all artists have a right to write about what happens to them," he told Details magazine. “But I have a right to write about things too.”
So can Jo-Bro fans expect him to tell-all on his upcoming solo album?
"[There will be songs about] different love scenarios that I've been through," he added. “Breakups, hurts. Me hurting somebody and feeling bad about it...I think there's a lot of scenarios where people might wanna hear my side of the story."
But someone the ‘Disney’ star has nothing but nice things to sing about is his current girlfriend Ashley Greene.
Opening up about his relationship with the ‘Twilight’ stunner he revealed,
"I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first. She understands my busy schedule. She'll fly out to my shows - she's been to places in South America that I can't even pronounce.”
