And while hysteria between fans of the late King of pop and supporters of Dr Conrad Murray built outside the Los Angeles courthouse – it was inside that shocking new details emerged.

According to Sky News, new evidence in the manslaughter trial of the popstar’s personal doctor was presented to the court – including an audio tape of the drugged singer barely able to speak and a never-seen-before picture of him dead in hospital.
“Michael Jackson’s death was a homicide,” LA deputy district attorney David Walgren told the jury in his opening statements.
“The evidence will show that Michael Jackson literally put his life in the hands of Conrad Murray... Michael Jackson trusted his life to the medical skills of Conrad Murray.
“The evidence will show that misplaced trust had far too high a price to pay... it cost Michael Jackson his life.”
In response, Dr Murray’s defence attorney Ed Chernoff told the court that the ‘Beat It’ star had caused his own death after taking a dose of powerful Propofol as a sleep aid, which “created a perfect storm in his body that killed him instantly.”
Mr Chernoff added, “He died so fast he did not even have time to close his eyes.”
The trial is expected to last for up to six weeks and could reportedly see Dr Murray face a prison sentence of up to four years if convicted.
