She’s known for keeping it real – and now superstar Beyoncé Knowles
has proved she’s still an ‘Independent Woman’ after taking on the role of her own manager!
We’re sure most of her day is already taken up with the tough job of being one of the most famous pop divas on the planet – but when it comes to her career, it seems it’s now her way or the highway!
After announcing last month that she would no longer be managed by her father Matthew Knowles, Queen B told Billboard,
“I'm taking everything my dad and my mother have taught me, and I'm able to do things my way.

"We were at a point where we'd learned so much from each other, and now it's exciting for me to do this on my own and hire my own team. I've started managing myself."
And while her hotly-anticipated new album isn’t slated for release until later this year – the ‘Halo’ star has let slip about what it’ll be called.
Sticking to something plain and simple for the follow-up to her chart-topping record ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce,’ the singer’s fourth release will be titled ‘4.’
And while it may seem pretty dull, the 29-year-old insists the number in fact has a much deeper meaning for her.
“We all have special numbers in our lives, and four is that for me,” she added to Billboard. “It's the day I was born. My mother's birthday, and a lot of my friends' birthdays, are on the fourth. April 4 is my wedding date.”
