The hotly anticipated collab between Lady Gaga and Beyonce is finally due to hit our screens in an exclusive MTV premiere tomorrow (Wednesday November 18).
The new Hype Williams-directed tag-team clip 'Video Phone' sees the chart dominators rock super-freaky get-ups including white corsets, sky-high heels and what can only be described as a Zorro-slash-bondange mistress combo.
Singing about the thrill of sexy-talk via video phone in a bump and grind ode to the iPhone generation, the floor stomping track features Gaga jumping into the steaming mix and name checking Gene Kelly and Marlon Brando while heaving and moaning in a featured verse. It was Bey who had the idea to include the ferosh Ms. Gaga in the clip, which was shot in Atlanta during a break in the R&B diva’s “I Am…” tour.
When Mrs Jay-Z asked the ‘Paparazzi’ princess to sing a verse on the track song, Gaga was beyond frothing.
Lady said of the video shoot, "I wanted to do my version of Beyoncé. So the whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yoncé."
And in more exciting news: Beyonce has returned the favour. As a payback, Gaga will feature Beyonce on a new track, 'Telephone,' from her forthcoming hits-and-more CD 'The Fame Monster' (out November 24).
Two diva’s for the price of one? We’re steaming up already…
Make sure you’re locked to mtv.com.au tomorrow (Wednesday November 18) for the exclusive video premiere of 'Video Phone'!
