The Aussie rockers are due to screen the exclusive world premiere of ’AC/DC Live At River Plate’ on May 6 at London’s legendary HMV Hammersmith Apollo, and fans are hyped!

The film, which centres around footage of the band’s legendary Buenos Aires concert, also includes a 19-track set list, 110 minutes of live performances and interviews, as well as ‘behind the scenes’ footage of their massive Black Ice World Tour.

According to a press release, the film was shot entirely in HD with 32 cameras, and the premiere in London is set to showcase the band on one of the UK’s largest film screens - the height of four double decker buses!

Australian premiere details will be revealed soon!

Roadrunner Records reports that AC/DC singer Brian Johnson said in a recent interview the band are on track for a well-deserved break after the release of the DVD.

"We just want to have a rest, because we were on the road for two years. We played in front of five million people, and we deserve a rest."

‘AC/DC Live At River Plate’ will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray and a limited collector’s edition with exclusive t-shirt. Additionally, the DVD contains a bonus feature titled ‘The Fan, The Roadie, The Guitar Tech & The Meat.’
