Robbie Williams is such a big fan of rock n’ roll band The Baseballs, he even wants them to play at his wedding!
The trio, consisting of Sam, Digger and Basti, are said to have impressed the singer when they played at the recent Echo Awards in their hometown of Berlin.
Talking to the group backstage, the former Take That star, who’s engaged to actress Ayda Field, said he “loved their energy and style.”
The rockers have already achieved success across Europe with their 1950’s-style cover versions of contemporary classics, including Rob’s own solo smash ‘Angels.’
Meanwhile the popstar will be working on a famous cover of his own.
The ‘Bodies’ star is teaming up with funnyman Russell Brand, who’s headed to Oz next month, to record their version of the England football anthem ‘Three Lions’ for next month’s World Cup.
